• Your Application should be only one pdf file containing the application form, consent form, personal statement and proof of family income and all marksheets.

• Your Application to be named  "your name_Roll No._Scholarship Application YYYY"

• Your Application to reach the mailbox of demtalumnischolarship@gmail.com by 23:59 on Nov. 30.

• Do not wait for last minute to send in your application form.

• Be clear, precise and truthful in your personal statement.

• Check grammar, spelling and sentence construct in your personal statement.

• The Personal Statement is your statement of Intent. This gives an insight to the panelist on your attitude & character.

• Do provide Information, but do not plead.

• Be realistic and truthful. It is much easier to find your untruths. And if doubts arise your entire application is devalued. You lose valuable points.

• Be truthful in mentioning the family income. While the Scholarship is need based, a large income band is clubbed for valuation. Hence misrepresenting income does not provide significant advantage while you run the risk of doubt and losing valuable points.

• Check your application thoroughly before mailing it in. Ensure that the scanned images are in proper size, order and sequence.

• Your entire application - clarity of thought, presentation, genuineness, proper naming, proper binding of all attachments, will be valued. Any slovenly work ensures loss of valuation and probably the loss of prize.
